Till February 11th, there is a “Black Movie Festival - Films from the other worlds” event held at the Maison des Arts du Grütli. The festival presents films from various parts of the world. They aren’t something typical and standard, so use your chance to discover new film dimensions. All in all, there are 72 films from 29 countries represented, all divided into seven sections. Disappearance section is dedicated to films from Asia, Africa and Latin America, After Mao is all about China and its history, while Mexico, Sweet Folly helps you to have a look at the Mexican life of past, present and future. Furthermore, the festival also offers such sections as Thaï Factory with new generation filmmakers that present their breakthrough works, an experimental and innovative project of "Digital Short Films by Three Filmmakers", with films from the Jeonju Film Festival (South Korea) this year and Black movies for kids. To diversify the event, there is also the Blackbox exhibition organized.
