Love dancing? Then you should definitely visit Flamenco festival, which is already taking place in Geneva and will last until October, 16. Here you can feel the spirit of real Spanish dancing and see the best international dancers and musicians, performing for you. Flamenco dance is known for it’s passion and riot character, which is brought to the stage with the help of clicking heels and castanets – the traditional instrument from Seville. During the previous years, the festival pleased the audience with excellent performances, including such highlights as Flamenco de Aqui on 10 October, Tiempo de Flores on 12 October and La Cava de los Gitanos on 15 October, 2005. Those who do not want to be just viewers, may try themselves in a wide range of workshops and courses with renowned flamenco artists, organized by the Antonio Perujo Academy of flamenco dance. Also, there will be various talks, films and exhibitions.
