Those who are fond of arts, and especially those who do the arts in practice, should definitely visit Geneva on September, 2 and 3, as on these days there will be the world's largest open-air painting workshop, Art'Air which aims to encourage artists to give flight to their fantasy and uncover their talents freely. Anyone who keen on painting can join 350 budding and established artists in order to demonstrate their skills and talents and take part in the competition along with professionals. The choice of mediums to do your work is unlimited: from watercolour and pastel to acrylics and oils. The event will be opened on Saturday morning, when the artists will start depicting one of the five famous places in and around the city: the lakeside, Ile Rousseau, Jardin Anglais, Place du Molard and Place du Bourg-de-Four. On Sunday, when the contest if finished, public will have a chance to see the works at Plainpalais, where the best artists will be awarded with prices.
