Montreux Jazz Festival is a popular event which takes place on the bank of Geneva river at the foot of the Alps every year. This year the festival celebrates it’s 40th anniversary and will as usually please the viewers with excellent music from jazz to blues, rock to pop. Among the performers there are heavyweights such as David Sanborn, Chick Corea, Abdullah Ibrahim and Diana Krall, the king of the blues, BB King and a lot of other artists from Gilberto Gil and Donovan to Eek-A-Mouse, Gotan Project and Deep Purple. Also, you will be able to visit night concerts at the Montreux Jazz Café with performed by different DJs and bands that will not be present at the official part of the festival. Views of the Alps and Geneva river make this place especially beautiful, so don’t miss the chance to enjoy beautiful music in beautiful surroundings. July 15 is the last day for this event.
