This year a large number of environmentally friendly cars are expected. Geneva’s car show is due to take place from March 2nd to 12th. In view of the soaring cost of petrol, vehicles that run on natural gas, electricity and other alternative fuels are becoming increasingly popular. Director of the Swiss association of electric and efficient road vehicles, e’mobile, explained that several manufactures were going to present more than one environmental model. This should include hybrid cars that combine a gasoline and an electric motor. Also on the podiums will be vehicles that run on natural gas, hydrogen, or other fuels. For example, Saab will present a car that runs 85% on bio-ethanol.
